Need for the project & its importance to the country & region:

 Presently the devotees specially kids, old and infirm people face hardship in climbing 1121 stairs made in winding climb of 2.4 kms to reach the temples at top of the hills from downhill..This ropeway system is proposed to negotiate this tough reach in a comfortable & environment friendly way.

It has been observed that on an average about 1000 pilgrims visit the temple in the whole day. It has been worked out that the Ropeway will be having maximum inbuilt capacity of 500 PPH (Passenger per Hour), which will meet their requirement.

Installation of a ropeway at Kevai Mata Temple will boost the tourism to the country & region.

Tourists can access quickly and more easily by the Ropeway from downhill to the Temple at uphill than the accessibility prevail at present.

Introduction

Rajasthan is one of the most popular tourist destinations in India, for both domestic and international tourists. Rajasthan attracts tourists for its historical forts, palaces, art and culture with its slogan “Padharo mhare desh’.

Kevai Mata Temple is situated in the Kinsaria village, Parbatsar, Dist. Nagaur, Rajasthan. Kinsaria village is  surrounded by the Aravalli ranges.

Kevai Mata has been fulfilling the wishes of the devotees for centuries. To reach here, 1121 stairs made in a winding climb of 2.40 km have to be used.

Historical Factor: An inscription of Vikram Samvat 1056 (999 AD) is engraved on the outer wall of the hall of the temple of Kevai Mata. According to said inscription, it is known that Chachdev, ruler of the Dadhichik dynasty, who was a feudatory of Chauhan king Rareelraj (son of Singhraj) of Sambhar, Vaishakh Sudi 3 of Vikram Samvat 1056, Akshaya Tritiya Sunday i.e. on 21st April, 999 AD, the day of Bhavani. This grand temple was built. Various forms of Goddesses have been described in a thousand inscriptions installed in the temple of Kaivai Mata ji, may this goddess with various forms of blood beneficence for you, by worshiping the goddess by which she has attained many types of siddhis. By the touch of whose feet the demons who conduct evil are destroyed. May Bhagwati Katyayani, who fulfills all the purposes, protect you.

MONOCABLE GONDOLA PULSATED SYSTEM

For aerial passenger transportation, this system has the widest use in the world both in flat and hilly terrain. One can see them in Disneyland, all over the Alpine Region and also other parts of world. The maximum capacity achieved in this system is in the region of 2500 PPH. Its flexibility to adapt length, terrain conditions and capacity normally gives it preference while making a choice.
